This webpage provides a brief synopsis and access to programs that have been presented at the monthly meeting of the Dayton Historical Society. Recordings did not begin until June 2017. The programs are animated slideshows with an audio track that have been uploaded to the Society's YouTube site.

Nancy Otto displayed Texas Capitol Ornaments that she has collected since 2005 while her husband John Otto served as State Representative, District 18 in the Texas House of Representatives. She talked about Texas history associated with each ornament.  Program is 20 minutes in length.

Presented by great-grandson Wes Williamson

Wes Williamson provided a biographical look at the life of his great-grandfather Rufus Elmer Williamson including personal and professional insights based primarily on experiences written about by Rufus. Program is 25 minutes in length.
