Dayton Historical Society

Sports are an important part of life in Dayton - both school and club sponsored. The high school has competition quality tennis courts, baseball field, football field, and practice fields. The city park has several baseball fields.

For decades, summertime in Dayton has meant gathering at the local baseball fields or traveling to other towns to watch adult softball and youth baseball/football games.
